Off Road Light Rec's

I'm wanting to put some lights either behind my billet grille or in my lower/bumper grille area. Mostly for driving at my farm and in the country just to help light up the road and ditch lines.
Without spending $200+ I was wanting to get some recommendations on which lights to go with. Also has anyone put their lights in the lower grille area? Pics?
Thanks for any tips or help!!!

Would these not work for what I'm wanting?

Or these...

I"ve had these on my truck since before I had my license, 5 years. I have them hooked up to my stock bright switch so whenever my high beams are on, these bad boys come on...

I've got a set of Hella's on my King Ranch that are hooked up with my brights. They cost me $92 for the set from Cabela's I think. I've got a pair of KC Daylighters, 130W on my K5 Blazer that were around $100 for the set from 4Wheelparts.com. Those suckers are BRIGHT!

I'm guessing the smaller more low profile lights just aren't bright enough to make a major difference?

I had a pair of 150W "pencil beam" Daylights on my Ranger. VERY bright and threw out the light VERY far. I think they were around $120 when I bought them. I had one of the pair burn out on me after 1.5 years.

I have Hella 700FF's on my F150 now. They were cheaper and bigger (7" diamter vs. the Daylighters 6", however the Hellas are a lot slimmer) than the Daylighters, but not as bright. I plan on changing the bulbs out to something brighter/better. Both still work great after 2 years. I believe the Hellas were around $75.

hella 500s are all you need.

get a set of fogs and a set of driving lights. i don't think you will have any complaints and they are cheaper than anything else but still a quality product.

-----x2 on the Hella. i have 4- 700ff ( 8 inch round ) cheap and they work. some day when i have a garage or my truck sees no more winters, i would invest in a LED bar.

also, IMO if you want brighter, go with a HID conversion in your head lights.
