and the wonderful Patman offered his assistance for the install..

If the group buy does not go through, then hook up with Raptor, scavenge what you need from junkyards, and carpool over to Patman's driveway. Make sure to bring plenty of beer, steaks for the grill, and keep the beers away from Raptor since he's under age.

Sure, you can put some fans into your car for a lot less money. But it's not exactly the same thing. As you can see, to spec out and purchase the same parts from a leading retailer could cost you more than ordering from Troyer.

Sort of like a 32 oz filet mignon from Morton's vs a Big Mac. They both fill you up. They're both from a cow. Just like they say in market stalls in South-East Asia: "Same. Same." "But different."

That's too bad. It was a great article with good pictures. Maybe he'll allow you to reprint it somewhere on this website.

I'm pretty sure you can go to You Tube & search for Raptor's screen name. Don't miss some of those other videos he had posted. There was the one of him racing his 4.2L, and he also demonstrated his Scan Gauge II. But that was all quite awhile back. He's probably got some new videos up by now. Surely, they must be just as entertaining. Maybe we can watch him rolling code 3 to save a kitten out of a tree.

I am really considering this!!!! Just what issues do I have to worry about though? Troyer is 3 hours from me. I was considering getting this kit and having them install it.

Do not have Troyer install your fan! Unless you have an iron will. Once you see what he can do to an engine you will leave there with a built and supercharged 5.4.
