You can put together 2 brand new Derale fans, 2 brand new Derale controllers, custom mounting brackets, and full detailed instructions for $150?

No you can't.

You'll be just like all the other guys who have posted forum questions: not know where all the wires go, and looking for creative ways to mount the fans.

I agree that for the fans & controllers alone, the price is high. However, you are also getting the detailed installation guide and custom brackets. Nobody who has bought a Troyer kit, has had to post questions on where the wires go, or where/how to mount the fans.

389 US sounds alright but by the time I convert to US dollars and get them to Canada I will still be over $500 Canadian to have them.

I am just about sold on these so saving 40 bucks is a good thing. Thanks to midnightrider for putting this together.

Well I never thought of it that way but after thinking about it I will be saving myself some money in labor and just have everything done at one time. A friend of mine is a mechainc and he said he would do the work for me very cheap to help me out. I don't want to offend him but would $100.00 be enough for just the labor to install the fans & the pullies ?

Come on you know you want those fans and the price will be going up soon so just go ahead and pull the trigger and buy them. Remember we need 8 of us that want these so the group buy goes through. I know I will be calling Troyer on payday to get my fans and pullies ordered.

I called Troyer yesterday and placed my order for the fans and pullies. She said she is taking names and credit card info but will not ship until at least 8 people have ordered. She didn't say how many people they have so far. Thanks Midnightrider.

Lincoln fans work great, I heard

Fab for metal isnt brain surgery.

DC controllers seem to have the least amount of problems.

and the wonderful Patman offered his assistance for the install..

Unfortunately for me, I installed my Troyer fans before this group buy came about.

I've been running with them two weeks and am very satisfied. The instructions were good and the installation was easy, but somewhat tedious. The hardest parts of the entire install were getting the old fan shroud out and putting the split wire loom covers on the wiring - getting the split loom covers on was a real pain.

Thanks for clearing that up, I don't think I explained the part about taking the orders till we have 8 people. It will be interesting to see how many people join in.

Why is it that all of the deals happen on things I want, right about the same time I need stuff (tires).

If I can squeeze it, I will buy too!

Well, there is at least 3 orders in to Troyer so far, and it looks like we have an official thread started in the group buy section, so that should catch a few more people.

I just ordered mine today. I emailed Troyer with a couple of questions and they called me back at work shortly after. They will send to Canada USPS for any Canadians that may be interested. With exchange and shipping it will be closer to $550 US to my location I think but we will see.
