Thanks Deno, Im looking for the ones that actually say "Blackout" beneath the FX4. Someone else has written and told me that Patriot has recieved a cease and desist from Ford, so they are out. Im thinking I will go have them made up at a A place like fastsigns or something.

Heres mine. Got it at the beginning of august and with the help of this site just started making it my own. I have a 2.5 front/1.5 rear level kit coming in. I know this will give me a little rake still but as you'll see from the picture I am always towing with it so i wont mind. Still debating on wether to paint the chrome around the grill and both bumpers. What do you guys think?

I'm hoping the lift will be enough. I saw a lot on here and think it should be. I will be getting new tires either before or after winter. Not sure exactly what ones yet or what size still exploring. I'm leaning toward the nitto trails but not sure well see.

Getting There!

So I have done the exhaust, 40 series flowmasters, Got the tips powder coated, and got up under there and used a few cans of Rustoleum Hi temp Black grill paint on the exhaust and in the wheel wells. I also removed the oval off the back, and will get the Chrome off the oval today using some very gentle sanding, then back to spray can and I have a black overlay with the Yankees logo in DSG.
The truck looks spectacular,I have gotten exactly the look I was going for. I also removed the red FX4 decals, they came off easy with a blow dryer head start and then a slow steady pull. The oval was a pain in the ***, I used some 65lb test, and rode it through the tailgate and the emblem. It wound up leaving the entire oval shaped piece of double sided tape, but the badge came perfectly. I am going to call the local Ford Dealer to see if I can buy a piece of double sided tape precut to fit the badges,
I have been looking around for a grill, I think I like the saleen style, but have not found a lower. Anyone know of any two pice grills, I would sure like to check em out. I guess if I can find a saleen with a bottom, I might go for a bully bar...
So Whaddya All think?

Here's an update on mine all blacked out but the fx4 sticker. I wish the picture was better as it doesn't come out as the dark grey it really is. I tried using my 4x4 today but of course no mud around.

You guys got some sweet trucks! I'm still working on my Harley truck. Got the Saleen Grill but I have to get the grille surround blacked out first.

Here is my first wife! 09 STX 4x4 4.6L v8. Custom headlight retrofit w/ projector and LED halo, 5k HID kit, all lights replaced w/ LED's, blacked out housing, aftermarket LED tail lights, bull bar, aftermarket grille (soon to be plasti-dipped black), 5% tint all around w/ eyebrow at top of windshield, 2" level in front, Flowmaster Super 10 Series muffler, Bully Dog performance tuner and 20" XD Monsters wrapped w/ 302/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

I can't decide whether to keep the running boards or not. If I do, I am going to plasti-dip them. Thoughts? And I am plasti-dipping my logos as well. Then the full 100% blackout will be complete!

Hope you like!

Thanks guys!
