Question About this:
I bought a new F-150 Last August. Yes, I know it's a truck; but she's new; and i don't want scratch the crap out of the roof. I have a magnet base CB antenna (right now it's sitting in the bed, getting no reception at all...), anyone have other mounting ideas?
FYI, it's a 2007 Ford F-150 XL Short Bed

Scratching

I have 2 Magnet mount antennas on my truck CB and Fire department radio. i also have a garmin GPS antenna and as long as you dont move them alot you wont have any problems with scratching.

Also dont slide them around, and you drop them strait on you wont have any problems

Nice sig dude ^^^. What radio do you use for the Fire/Rescue band? Can you pick up police/EMS? I was thinking about getting a police/fire/EMS/aircraft scanner to mount in my truck but I'm still faced with the anntenna issue. I'm still trying to look for a lo-profile anntenna. I think whips on my truck would look stupid.
