This is the standard location that I mount the switches for all the dealerships. After cutting the hole for the switches I place the panel back up on the door and use a marker to mark the whole location on the door metal. I remove the panel then use a uni-bit to drill holes in each corner of my square I marked. Then I take my tin snips and cut from hole to hole. After putting the panel back, installing the switches and connecting the wiring I make sure that the wiring is pulled out of the way of the window assembly so that it doesn't grab the wiring. Trust me...it's not pretty when the wiring gets caught up.
