Check the forum for the 04-later trucks. The throttle response is a known issue. The only cure is a tuner.

its true the only cure is a tune I have the Xcal2 tunes by Mike Troyer, you can go the Edge route and roll the dice and hope you dont have any issues or pay a few extra bucks and get an Xcal2

The tuner of your choice will be the best bang for the buck.

There is a procedure to recalibrate the throttle pedal on another site. I have heard it works great. I have an Edge and I don't have to worry about it! I love the Edge!

i know there are several threads about edge vs xcal 2 by troyer but wouldn't you have to retune troyer's setup if you got additional mods? and from what i understand YOU can make the changes with the edge instead of sending it back to troyer.

am i anywhere close on that???
