Nice dude, a lot of work for lights but that probably looks badass at night. How long did the whole process of pulling the dash out take you?

Man, it sucked so bad. I almost took a day off of work to put it back together because I was so depressed about it. My hands are still cut up a little. They build the dash as one piece at the factory with screws going in at all angles and directions so you can't just peel the skin off the dash but rather unbolt the nine main big bolts and tip it forward to reach all the skin screws in the back side. Justin and I mainly worked on his last saturday and I got mine a little taken apart, then all day sunday dismanteling and a little soldering, then each day after work I slowly put it back together. I finished Thursday.
The camera is having trouble pickin up the green and purple colors but when you see it in person the purple is so cool, its actually ultra violet so its like a black light. and the green is a perfect match to the dash illum. I use the green the most.

This could be done very easily. The way Justin did his was he didn't care if you could see the leds so he was able to pull out panels and just drill from the side.
Me, however, had to be different
, and I thought the effect would be better executed if the leds were on the top side of the vents so you can't see the "bulbs". Being a lifted truck this was hard to hide because you could see them climbing in or if your already inside.

Hey LEDF150, sorry you couldn't make the meet but that was very cool to have your pop bring your truck. Awesome truck man! I hope your pop had a good time and didn't mind the heat. I hope you feel better and you can make the next one of these. Hell, swing by my house and I'll install something for you, Everyone else is!

Hope so too....your dad was asking all kinds of questions about my truck today, hopefully he brings that all home to you. The setup I have on my truck is great dude. You'll be happy with it if you do it too!

Good time today guys. It's nice to be able to put a face with a name.
Clearly you could see that all of us our into our trucks by the way they looked and the work and $$$ that's gone into them. Stompy and BADDRVR, your trucks are stellar. And Marc C, your truck sounds freakin bad azz. I want a Roush, no wait, I have to have a Roush! Again, all of the trucks looked damn nice
Hey LED, now I understand your screen name a little better. You've done some pretty neat things with it. The bedrails are pretty cool with the lights in the back. I hope you get well soon and can join us for the next meet.
Let me get some of these pics uploaded. Since we know what it looked like I'm gonna throw them in GD. Hope evryone's o.k. w/that.
