Hey Red, turn on the weather channel. Looks like it's moving through the Cleveland area right now but looks good over Akron. I may give it another hour or so, see what happens.

After watching the weather channel and looking outside, I think I'll stay home. It's still raining off and on, probably will all day.

Hey Andy, got it home safely, it took 5 of us to get it out of the bed. I've been researching it all day and it may cost me between 5-10 large just to fix and tune the thing and thats not including the cosmetics.

Hey mike, find me deal on that magnaflow system like yours. I love that sound, your truck roaring down the road and the tinkle tinkle of piano as you go.

I have the #16520, uses coupon code "veedub" in your cart and it brings the price down to $408.11 I paid 365 two and a half years ago for mine. Do yourself a favor and buy from Troyer, then if you have a problem, they will take care of it, and troyer will pricematch any legit price you find, they did for me and the best price I found was from hottexhaust at the time.

Well, those of you who know me, know that I have been driving around in a partially finished lifted truck and leaning around corners like I was going to fall over.

Look what I found at my door step:

I can't say how much I like Rize and their customer service. At times it seems like there is only one person working there (Phil), but he does exactly what he says he is going to do and the parts arrived exactly when he said they would. Super props to that company and my truck drives like it used to too: fantastic.

It had been so long since i had the sway bar off I couldn't remember how it went back on. The confusion was that I must have spun the rubber blocks and mounts around and I kept trying to put it in upside down.

Little side note: Mike, I almost got that power tailgate lock done (f'ing rain). Let me know if you need any tips or help

Hey Mike, You had a problem with your hanger breaking off so didn't they send you a new system but it was a newer part number? Or is it still the 16520?

I'm so close to pushing the button. But these economic times, it seems stupid to spend any money on replacing perfectly good things. Although the sound...

But then theres the programmer

But you should have a CAI before the programmer to it can have the proper tune

Or maybe ranger trans repairs...

That drive shaft money is just burning through my pocket!
Shooot

Oh BTW John, I say screw the shock guys and there 5100s. We all asked nicely and, "sorry. thats the best we can do for you." is what we got. If you go to their site and buy the shocks without using the F150 dicount and then you exit the page, there will be a pop up that automatically gives you the same discount. So don't feel your special because they advertise on this forum and give us a "special" discount. Everyone gets that discount. I'll take my chances with an aluminum block since the 5100 have no real advantage. They move the spring bottom the same as if you added a block to the top. $300 can buy a lot of stuff. Keep your 5100s

My original system was the 16614, that sytem has been discontinued and replaced by the 16520 which is what I have now.

An off the shelf programmer with canned tunes will not compensate for a new CAI, your better off spending the money on custom tunes and they can be written for any intake you choose.

Since your truck is an 07, you can run a CAI w/o a custom tune. It was the 04's that ran lean stock and were dangerous with a CAI

BTW, I agree about the 5100's They do the same thing as my belltechs do, just in the opposite direction. Actually belltech also makes a set of shocks that offer 0-2" lift just like the 5100's and they are a bill each, you can get them from stylin trucks where I got mine. I have the 25001's

Before you buy them, I don't recommend the belltech's. The lower bushings on them went bad after only 1 year and I had to yank them out and put the stockers back in. Just get the AutoSpring spacers, they do the same thing in the end and are a lot cheaper, just spend the extra 12 bucks for the powedercoat option. The standard paint doesn't hold up very well in our climate.

Man, this weather bites. It's 36 degrees outside and it's only suppose to be 51 today. In fact this whole week looks pretty crappy. 40's and 50's for the highs and 30's for the lows. Kind of early for this crap.

Going to do a tranny service on the yota today, swap my wheels on my truck, and clean her up. Should be a productive day.

How'd the tree project go Andy? You didn't have to call the ins. co. did you?
