Yeah, eventually they will get to me, with only 10 years down there, I'm way down on the senority list. I won't be the first called back, but I won't be the last either. Good news is maintainence personnel are the first ones called back, and that's what I am.

When it was reported on TV earlier, they said the official announcement would be tommorrow. So I'm guessing they will start calling everybody back on Monday the 10th. Now I just have to sit by the phone and wait for the call.

Glad things are gettin' a little brighter for ya'. That's a good sign of recovery, good to hear it. We're seeing very positive signs in our business right now too. I'm very optimistic. Knock on wood but I hope we're (all of us) on the up swing from slammin' the bottom.

You want to do some wiring Sunday? I want to hook up some bed lighting that I have but I'm not exactly sure which wire would be best to splice into.

Yeah I don't mind. You want to make it so that the light is only on if the truck is on? Or maybe a switch that would turn on if you lifted the first hatch of your back flip? Let me know what I should bring if you are refering to a parking lot job.

In my Ranger I just have a regular rocker switch that I push to turn on the lights. I know where it is even in the dark but that way it isn't always on in case you are hauling stuff.

It might be sweet to splice into your cab light/bedlight circuit. That way you could push your button on the remote and, viola, have an illuminated bed waiting for you.

Or a contact in your tailgate so that when you open it the light comes on.

Sorry for rambling, can't sleep, super stress

I was thinking about one of those push button type of switches. Ya' know what I mean? Open the tailgate and the lights comes on. Something like that maybe.

Stress sucks man. Hope you can chill out.

Tailgate thing should be pretty straight forward. I have added push buttons in my truck. Center console and glove box and they are working fine. On that note, does a Lariat have an illuminated glove box?
