Please share where you found it for that price, sounds like a great deal. Lowest I have found it is close to $600. I can wait a month if needed, I want to get an alarm installed first anyway.

May want to email the guy and see if he's planning on getting anymore in. The only reason mine took a month is because I live out in Hawaii. I emailed one of the other buyers back in CONUS and he got his back on March 7th. I just can't wait to get this thing installed.

Wow that's a pretty big difference over what he sold the first 10 he had. Wonder if he just didn't realize that these things were in such demand and didn't know what to price them out at. Makes me really glad I caught that auction when I did and I was able to get his last one. Sorry for your luck with the seller.

I was recently quoted at a shop here in Dallas for the AVIC D3 and the Bluetooth Module for $900.00 flat with professional install. Is this a good price for the AVIC unit including the Bluetooth Module and professional install? If so im going to pull the trigger on this next month.

Sounds a little high to me. Shop around before you pay that much. Ive been looking around online for the parts, and it looks like you can order the D3 and bluetooth module for ~ $600. You should be able to find an installer for less than $300, or save alot and install yourself! It really isnt that hard, and Justi has given us great info on the D3 install.

 

I find it hard to believe you can get the D3 and BTB-200 for $600 to the door. Do you have a link on that? If that's true then THAT would certainly be a good deal.

While $900 isn't a steal, I believe it to be a pretty good deal. I paid $799 to the door from Crutchfield for the D3, BT, and iPod cable. I did the install myself and while not hard, not for someone who has never installed a stereo. The other plus to having it installed is I assume it comes with a warranty thru them. Lots of the cheaper online retailers offer their own warranty and it's not thru Pioneer. I order a lot of stuff online but just make sure the deal is significant enough to offset the associated risks. Just my $.02.

Ive seen the BTB-200 for cheaper but would rather buy from Amazon. I don't know much about techondigital.com, but some quick research they seem ok. Before i buy the D3 from them I would call to verify the unit is Brand-New, not refurbed. They claim it is brand-new. I would also verify the 1 year warranty they claim. Seems to be pretty safe though.

I know alot of people like crutchfield, but Ive used them a few times and see no reason to pay their inflated prices anymore. Here is the D3X package for $655 to the door. I have no need for the IPod cable or remote though.
