What is "Trailer tow relay reversing lamp switched power" wire doing in Navigation harness???
It seams its connected to reverse position on transmission as well
Does anybody have any idea why is there????(reverse camera?)

i think it is suppose to lower the radio if you have back up sensor maybe? i have back up sensors but it doesnt lower the radio when i back up i have to lowe rthe radio to hear the beep.

 

It's switched power, I think its power for relay like back up camera, what other purpose would it have and back up sensors is separate system with its own speaker. Someone posted same connector with out wire number 6 in a harness

It looks like phone integration in NEW 08' models with FordSYNC is using same model of navigation unit..I hope its just software update...
