thanks for all the help you guys

i just hope everything goes smoothly when i install it. tracking says it should be here friday but there's no telling of the metra kit. said 2-9 days from canada and i ordered it the same time as the hu.

impact, dconder - any "clues" you can give me to type into the search. i've tried and can't come up with anything. i keep getting dash removal and amp wiring.

a good source to bypass the safety switch. i don't want to have to dim the lights to get the dvd player to work

good find

well i thought i could ground it and it would bypass the control, that was not teh case.

luckily the guy who owned the truck previously had a switch right next to the cig lighter so i cut the wire (still grounded) and hooked it to the switch. it's not a bad idea in case you get pulled over and the cop tries to give you a hard time


hu is great, fits very well

jsut got to figure out all the audio setups, ie. mHz ranges and something called Q

put a few pics in my gallery but they are with my phone, g/f dropped our nice camera so that's all i've got for right now

yea ive ordered from their ebay store about 4 times. Ive never had a problem with them. I would recommend them.
