2007 catalog is up on their site. The W205 is the new one. Not many changes except the addition of a built in docking station. But, it is not compatible with the Blackbird I have. Looks like you have to buy the new B200 Blackbird. And no IPOD video support. Looks like no new head unit for me.

Are you sure? Did you see the new ipod adapter KCE-
415i Video ipod support. Its there, listed the new HU too. Sign me up........

This is the one that is 4X faster than the direct connect presently offered by Alpine.

I missed that but, I did find it. I wonder if its a box or just a cable. It is said to work with the W200. I like that:thumbsup

I wonder what they are going to do at 2:00pst since the 2007 cat. is already up? Maybe just better pics of everything.

The KCE-300BT looks interesting too. It lets you see who is calling on the screen.

Lets see what the price point is going to be now.

The video ipod is not going to be just a cable...page 12 shows it with a box like the pioneer I have now...no big deal i can find a spot for that.

Add it up: (Predictions)
Ipod interface: 159.00
Bluetooth interface: 200.00
Blackbird: 499.99
IVA-W205: 1000.00

Edit again. The KCE-415i is an adapter box but, it says nothing about being controllable from the W200. It says with the rear seat entertainment or their TM monitors.

I suspect as a discliamer they have to say that...however, if your unit uses Ai-net...you are good to go.

The catalog does indeed say you can control the unit from the W200, D310 and the newer W205, D100, and D105. That might be a must buy when it comes out. I have the rear Alpine unit in our FX35. I might have to buy one for it too. No more fumbling with DVD, cool.

It should come as a "kit" with cable included.

I bought my kce415i today at 6th ave electronics for $96 with tax. They are probably a little cheaper on ebay but, sometimes I just wanna do things the old fashion way and go to the store and actually see what I'm buying

Did it come with cables? Which ones? I am just wondering how it hooks up. I can not find anything on line that says how. Thanks

It comes with all the cables you need except for the s-video which is optional. It seems fairly easy power, ground, remote all connected to a plug that go from interface to hu, av cables from interface to hu,and cable from interface to ipod. Probably try to get to it today I'll let you know what I think
