try this

i think d40's link was a copy and paste of the url when he was logged in to the database, cause it didnt work for me either.

but all i did was erase everything back to http://www.motorcraftservice.com/

then when you pull the main page up, click Owner Guides on the left, and then select year/make/model

i found the nav book this way

Any word on whether you can get an 07 Nav unit to work with an 04 F150 with Audiophile and factory RES? I believe I was told no support for the RES was available. Is that correct?

By the way, that unit will take the factory Sirius setup if you by the seperate Sirius reciever for it. It too is a plug and play deal, thats what I am going to do. Congrats on the new system.

Hey SAJEFFC,
If you don't mind could you tell me what the ford dealers price is so I can see if im getting a goog deal? thankyou

Vader,
I have an 04 F150 FX4 and I got the New Nav unit to work with my Audiophile system, and also added the factory Sirius tuner as well. However, I do not have the Rear entertainment system, but the option is there on my nav unit. If you look in my gallery you can see the tabs that are active on the unit. I hope this helps a little.

I am selling my 03 S'crew and looking at the new body style trucks. I LOVE the 07 KR with Navi but hate the price. Glad I found this post. I am going to ad the navi to the pre 07 that I buy (navi being the real reason for looking at the 07). Anyway, I have a couple of questions.

Ipod....does the factory navi control it or do you still have to look at the Ipod to make selections?

Can the factory navi be made to play DVD's?

If not, can it accept a seperate dvd player signal?

Can the safety 5mph imput thing be canceled?

And finally, what about using the factory navi for a complete system with multiple amps and components?

Any news yet on the back up camera?

I am liking the Pioneer navi set up but really like factory pieces (if they can do everything I want). The price is close on the factory unit and the Pioneer. But I want a multiple amp, tv screen, speaker system and I want it all controlled by a touch screen head unit.

What do you guys think? Aftermarket or factory Navi?

Thanks a bunch in advance,
Chad

************SORRY, shouldn't have hijacked this thread with my questions. I'll start a new post.**********

Even the 04 RES with an 07 Nav? If so I might be calling you and treating myself. What's your number again? I'm lazy.
