Just curious on how it's wired...
heres the scoop, RP
You can see where I mounted on the bumper, run the wire up the pas side
frame rail (very long zip ties needed) and zip tie to the rail to the back
of door sill, remove the pas side sill cover all the way off,(reverse wire
is located in ths hasness at the front door also) look in the rear of the
sill channel you will see a rubber plug.. you can run the wire in the cab at
this point though a hole you make in the plug...from there run the sill
channel the the front, behind the kick cover, behind the glove box, to the
HU.... roll the rest of the wire up and zip tie.....done deal.....

Almost makes you sick when driving and seeing everything on the screen going backwards lol.
I'll have to try that, I can see where it would give a hold new meaning to "not knowing reather you're coming or going"

Thanks bud... I'm still a little unclear as to what activates the camera when you reverse. In short, if you put it into R, does it sense power to the reversing light and kick on and thus display on the interior screen? Surely you don't have to manually activate it do you?

Exactly. That's why you need to hook up the reverse wire in the head unit. It senses the reverse lights going on thus turning on the camera. You can also use the info button in the head unit to turn on the camera manually.

RP, its automatic, hook up the reverse wire on the eclipse HU to the trucks reverse wire (DG/YE) in pas side sill plate....install cam one plug to back of HU, done deal.....
then when you shift in reverse the cam is automatic....even if you have not checked the safety disclaimer screen, the cam still shows in reverse....
works great....and where I install it, you have full view behind truck, can even see the receiver hitch when installed.....

also the cam can be turned on manualy any time you want in the menu....

Heck man... I'm worried mine might not look all that great... I don't really have any free time between now and then to detail... life is pure chaos.

it stands for Eclipse Security Network. After you install the radio you can choose a cd to lock the radio. If the radio is ever disconected from power you will need to put in that "key" cd you chose. Since a theif has no idea what that may be, the radio is no good to him since it won't work any more, therefore the street value of a stolen eclipse is nothing.

That's awsome! I tried to get the shop but the ******* installer wouldn't do it. Wtf did I pay the focker for? Well if you go to SUperautobacs there one ****head and one good installer. Anyhow, I went back and paid again and had it installed in the bumper itself (try to post a pic later on). He cut a square hole and it's flush. It looks good but it should sctually protrude out more and angle downward a bit. Mine gets a little cloudy in heavy rain. Mine is mounted with screws as well as taape. there are holes in the bracket, unless he changed my bracket. Can you tilt your down any?
