Dreamsr, the install is complete and went great. Turned out to take longer than planned, but what doesn't when its your first time. Heres some pics of the install and final set up.

1. Why don't you power your door speakers from the IVA D900 amp?
2. What does the AI-net cable do?
3. Is the fiber optic audio cable better than rca?
4. I never knew there was a PXA-H510, only knew PXA-H700?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. I would rather overtask or overheat an external amp instead of the $1000 head unit.

2. AI-net is kind of like USB connection on a computer, plug & play any Alpine AI-net changer, XM receiver, etc and you can control them from the head unit.

3. Digital output from the head to the processor will give you true DTS for Dolby surround movies and music.

4. The 510 has pretty much the same functions as the 700 and still has Digital Parametric EQ with Automatic Digital Time Correction for $300 NIB at 1/2 the cost of a 700.

Hopefully Dreamsr that makes a little sense.

HYPE!!!

Got you on all points. Yow you really went all out! I never knew you planned to strip the van down to get the wiring in! It looks good though and I imagine it sounds real good. I'm gonna put in a pair of subs in parallel. That will get me the 4ohms load for my amp.
I can't wait to start putting in the stuff but my van is still at the garage getting the front fixed. Hope to get it back this weekend though. Nice set up sk8inrj1. Will show off my set-up as soon as I begin the Mod out process. MOD OUT is the name of my automotive store. Ok so what's next with the big boys?

Hey guys is there any voice activated alarm systems available out there to purchase like the one I hear that is in the new BMW's?

Album Updated

Updated some of my album photos and descriptions for what I getting ready to install.

Autopage lcd alarm w/remote start gets installed on March 5th. I chickened out after reading the installation manual. After that I should start to install components in a week or two. I still haven't purchased everything as of yet.

Vandy,

Have you installed the Prorockbox yet? I can't decide between that box or the single sealed box from Supercrewsound.com.

I know the Prorockbox is ported. How does it sound? What did it cost you? What sub did you use?

Thanks
Greeny

Probox

I haven't installed yet as I am still working in Texas and will be here for a month now instead of 2 weeks. I hope to at least get a layout figured out when I get back home in mid March.

Trust me, I'm ready...work is slowing me down.

Vandy,

Did you install the IVA-D900 yet? Curious how you like it. Is the picture pretty clear?

Does it come with Navigation?

Red face IVA-D900

I had actually bought 3 off of ebay and got screwed for $2059.00 when they didn't show up. I have since gotten $1000.00 back from Paypal and are trying to locate the SOB that still owes me the rest.

Since then I have bought a IVA-D901 brand new in the box and have seen the 900 which looked killer on the screen. I can't wait to get it installed but I am only home a week out of a month right now due to business needs.

I also bought an Alpine TV tuner, Alpine XM tuner, Alpine 7" rear drop down monitor, and an Alpine V12 mono 300 watt amp to push the 10" sub and Probox enclosure. I ended up with Infinity component speakers up front and Infinity 5x7's in the rear. I am going to take the advise given to me and use the head unit as the source for the front and rear speakers.

Lots to do and no time to do it.

Vandy
