For anyone interested...i am organizing a trip to Mounds for this Sunday.
Plan is to meet at Oakland Mall parking lot near the Krispie Kreams (along 14 Mile Rd.) around 10:00 to 10:15....10:30 ish, leave the lot to head to the Mounds ORV park. Leaving there around 4 ish to return to Fraser for the City picnic and fireworks/carnival...i have limited VIP parking passes for the City park to get parking and have connections in the beer tent/food tent, and possibly for ride tickets or passes for all the kiddies. For anyone interested we are going to the Mounds tomorrow (Sunday 7/19/09). Small group meeting at the Oakland Mall parking lot on 14 mile and John R between 10 & 10:30 am. More are meeting us in the lot at the Mounds. If anyone wants to tag along meet us by the Krispie Kreams in the mall parking lot by 10:30 or just meet in the Mounds parking lot between 11:30 and 12.

Was wondering if anyone was free or wanted to go up to the Mounds Aug 2? I couldn't make it on the 19th because of my daughter's 2nd birthday.

Never been there and I also have a stock 4x4 so you can probably help pull me out when I get stuck. lmao Hopefully that won't happen though.

They sell the ORV stickers there or should I plan on buying one before I get there?

 

you need one befor you get there but i was told speedway might have them walmart has them in the sporting goods scctoin i got mine at meijers in the sporting goods scctoin

 

Just an FYI there is an amazing Autozone near the Mounds if anyone ever needs to get a serpentine belt because the one on your truck broke and came off! lol

 

most ppl are nice and help others out when they are in need to fix a truck when the pullys get rocks in them and seize, also throw/brake the serpentine belt. highlight i pulled out a big lifted chevy that had water almost over the bed and looked 3 times the size of my stock 2009 silverado 4x4. it had a rebel flag on the tailgate

 

Had a weird starting problem this evening with my truck. Started fine all day and no problems since Saturday. Went to start it this evening a little after 8 and nothing. Lights came on battery was charged, no clicking.... nothing. Wouldn't even turn over. Called for a tow, waited for about 45 minutes before I took my daughter home using my dad's extra car and the truck started right up. I dropped it off at the dealership to see if they could diagnose any problems and I hope it isn't anything major since the warranty was up 3,900 miles ago.

BTW....still needs a thorough engine cleaning and undercarriage cleaning even after taking it to the touchless car wash and power washing the engine to get the dirt and mud off. Need to spray the entire underside of the hood too!
