I used to cruise Gratiot back when I was working at Holley carb. Even moved to Roseville for a while. Now I'm back cruising Woodward since we live so close. I haven't missed a Woodward Dream Cruise yet either.

- Nice post...

- Great info, and thanks to all those posting links to Great Lakes 4X4 and such..

- I am in Canton, and "upgraded" last year to a 2008 FX4 when the Incentives were SO good.

- I'll now have a place to check for events when I want to go off-roading..

- Thanks a-bunch !!

Hey guys, I live in Sterling Heights near the PD. Would love to do some off roading but have never been and don't know how much I could do without breaking my truck. lol Got it stuck in a ditch and didn't break anything so I think I should be alright.

Probably the closest I've gottent to off roading is driving down 24 Mile road after the heavy rain we got and in the snow during the winter.

As far as where.....I've heard Silver Lake is way to busy. An uncle of mine who also has an F150 said he had heard The Mounds was supposed to be a good place.

Would like to meet up sometime. Dream Cruise anyone?

I grew up in Sterling Heights, live and work in Roseville now. We should meet up some time. There is a group of us down here that go to the Mounds on Sundays. Probably won't go till after July 4th due to busy weekends and a trip to Silver Lake. I can let ya know when we are going if you want to tag along.

That will work, I will have to coordinate it with my wife because she works every other weekend, I have sundays off but I've got a little 2 y.o daughter running around the house.

I used to live in Roseville for a bit, 13 and Utica, then we moved up Utica to Fraser. We rented the house right across from the heating and cooling place on Garfield and Utica.

Thanks for the invite, much appreciated.

I am from Windsor, across the river. I don't have a passport so I cannot cross yet. I have an appointment for Tuesday the 23rd of June to apply for an enhanced Ontario Driver's Licence. This will allow me to cross the border and it is cheaper than a passport. Unfortunately the process can take up to a month. Till then I am stuck on the south side of the border. Once that is taken care of I would like to attend one of the meets.

I try to get out a few times here and there on St Clair. Friends have boats and i go out with them, from time to time i take one of them out when no one else is using it. It is like the community boats shared by 4 or 5 of us.

Could be a blast. Unfortunately I do not have a boat but I would love to get out and do some Muskie fishing.
