Michigan???
I just used a piece of 1/4" thick flat stock about 8" long. Drilled a 1/2" hole at the end, and then 2 3/8" holes on either side of my tow hook to match up with a 2" long piece of steel underneath. Sandwhich the hook, tighten the bolts down and I'm good to go.
Play out on the dunes all the time. Sitting 5 miles from the entrance right now at my office...

I would appreciate it.
heres some pics. you could use the ubolt if you wanted to mount it to the tow hook or you could just do it like mxzeatr. the dimensions are 9X1.5 with a 1/2" hole at the top for the flag.

Dude, I have a summer home there. Try www.thinkdunes.com Be sure to check out the lighthouse. Lots of nice bars in Hart, Pentwater and Shelby. You can always head up to Ludington for the day. Be sure to have a sturdy mount for your dune flag. Non-resident state park will run $29.00 ORV $16.50. If you do not have a flag, those can be purchased all over the Silver Lake area.
I'm from downriver, and curiously looking for a dealership around here that has service techs that aren't dumber than Jim Carrey or Jeff Daniels in their infamous movie. Anyone have a dealership around that has done a successful plug change, figured out the cam phaser issue, or at least not asked you to leave your truck in their shop for days to complete a 15 minute recall?
I don't know how I would have done it without either one. Could hammer down anytime, and she would just pull like hell. Only had to get towed off the top of a dune once, so that went well. I topped out the dune, then she just sat down on it. Oh well, I didn't break anything (whew!) Definately going to do this again.

Hi Jordan!
