Kalamazoo here, but travel to Detroit for my Bike club somewhat frequently.

 

My partner and I used to go race in Kazoo in september. Is that little 3rd mile race track still there?

You talking about US131 Motorsports Park in Martin? Yeah, and its bigger than ever now. That place is hopping pretty much every weekend with races.

 

No I was talking about the circle track.

 

Yeah, Kalamazoo Speedway is still around as well. For the Outlaws and the Pro Stocks.

 

Sure had a lot of fun there yrs ago. Now I'm just hot rodding my truck. 4 link and coil overs going in now.

 

I remember sneaking into that place when I was in high school. When I moved in the late 90s it was just some bleachers and clocks, now it looks amazing. Going to try and make it out there this summer.

Welcome. I personally haven't been on here much but i got the notification that a post was made. Things get a little slow on here during the winter months for get togethers and meet and greets. I'm sure everyone will be more than happy to help with any questions, issues or general information.

 

Any Michigan people on here from downriver? Allen Park, Southgate, Dearborn etc... or remotely close?

Not sure about the others diesel, i am in Roseville so i am only about 15 to 20 minutes North of Detroit. I'm not all that far from you in respect to most of the others on here.

 

I live in Brownstown, but work in Allen Park.
