Anyone in the Omaha Nebraska area?
Well, I definitely don't have the biggest truck in town.
Saw a HUGE black Dodge diesel with a huge lift drive through the parking lot at work here this morning and go down to our quicklane building. Looks like they were loading up some tires or something, not sure. The rear end was sagging quite a bit though - it looked pretty goofy. So I kept an eye on it so I could see it drive away. After they were finished loading up whatever, the driver gets back in - apparently hits a switch that raises up the rear end at least a foot to level back out the truck - and then drive away! It was pretty sweet - some sort of adjustable lift I'm assuming on some sort of airbag type of setup. Lowers down far enough so you can still have some sort of access to the cargo/bed area. Then goes back up to sit level. It must've had at least 38's maybe 40's for tires. Keep your eyes open....

I'm pretty sure I saw the same truck at Famous Daves this past weekend.
well jump n...here's the damage

truck vs. ditch....ditch always wins...i thought my ford woulda put up a little better fight though
and heres my latest racecar

you can pre much blame that thing for my truck not having much done to it lol...it's a figure 8 car, do it a most local county fairs and such...just a hobby but it takes up the cash...last year i went through two cars, two motors, a tranny, rearend, among some more smaller stuff...this year i'll hopefully be throwing a fresh 355 in her

OUCH, that looks like you took a pretty nasty hit. Did you have your seatbelt on? Doesn't look like you hit your head on the windshield, looks like one would expect that with the damage you had if you didn't wear your belt.
Do you run at Nebraska Raceway Park? We should come out and watch you if you do. Let us know, we could make it a gettogether!

nope, none of us were wearing our seatbelts...we got extremely lucky, we're unsure by my cousins head might have knocked out the drivers side back window ha
i sure don't race at NRP..they used to have figure 8's but i think they got rid of them a cpl years ago...but i LOVE dirt track racing and usually make it out there at least once a year, you go there quite a bit??

great idea I am in,
And last night I managed to do a preliminary power up of the front components and get the gains set. All I can say is wow, it took all I had to stay sitting in the vehicle while setting the gains. This thing can get loud, I can't wait until this weekend to get it all complete. I am thinking late saturday I should have a final power up and everything installed hopefully.

Cool, 05. I so wish I had kept my JL 300/4. I am still tweaking mine. Really depends on if the songs are ripped from cd's, off of Itunes, etc as to how my system sounds. Some songs are loud and bass heavy, others are less defined. Also depends on what mood (how loud I want) that I'm in as to how I set things up. Nice job on your system!

Thanks, tonight I am going to secure all the wires and sand down the console box so I can paint it tomorrow. I am really excited to get the DIYMA into the truck and playing. And I know what ya mean when it comes to tweaking, isn't that half the fun of owning a system

Thanks to the member dirtyd88 for his mad photochopping skills. He is looking for some more traffic on their website, which is http://www.screenfx.tk
I know some people have had signatures made by them over there as well. Some very talented people over there - I suggest you check out their site and maybe get a new signature if you need one!
Here is the link to the 'Cars' thread if you want them to make one using your truck:

Guys, I got my jet ski out to Carter Lake this evening... man what an awesome night!!! Water wasn't all that bad either. There was some fool trying to launch a pontoon boat that got away from hit at the dock as I was patiently waiting to come in. How does one put in on one side of the ramp, yet, end up on the other over another guys trailer that was already in the water ready to land his boat... 'tards...
Sweet, that is what I wanted to hear Cory and I have decided come hell or high water that we were going to wakeboard this weekend. I have been sitting on a new wakeboard for the past 6 months and I want to ride this thing.
Good job guys, we already have 7 members as of this morning in our Nebraska Ford Truck social group. Keep'em coming

Joke time:
A man in Topeka, Kansas decided to write a book about churches around the country. He started by flying to San Francisco and working east from there. Going to a very large church, he began taking photographs and making notes. He spotted a golden telephone on the vestibule wall and was intrigued with a sign, which read 'Calls: $10,000 a minute.' Seeking out the pastor he asked about the phone and the sign. The pastor answered that this golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to heaven and if he pays the price he can talk directly to GOD.
The man thanked the pastor and continued on his way. As he continued to visit churches in Seattle, Denver, St. Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee, and around the United States, he found more phones, with the same sign, and the same answer from each pastor.
Finally, he arrived in Nebraska. Upon entering a church in Crawford he saw the usual golden telephone. This time, the sign read "Calls: 35 cents." Fascinated, he asked to talk to the pastor, "Reverend, I've been in cities all across the country and in each church I've found this golden telephone and have been told it is a direct line to Heaven and that I could talk to GOD, but in the other churches the cost was $10,000 a minute. Your sign reads only 35 cents a call. Why?"
The pastor, smiling benignly, replied, "Son, you're in Nebraska now,
you're in God's Country. It's a local call."
