anyone got any good tips for changing out COP's?? I must be really really bad at it cuz it took me 2 1/2 hours and a lot of cuss words just to change out #4, its the 3rd COP to go out in a month so I have a feeling i'll be doing some more shortly, When i did this unhooked the fuel rail and a couple other things but it was still a pain

Wish I could help ya, but I haven't done that before. How did you know it went out? Do you get a trouble code? I need new plugs soon, I'm at 97,000 miles. Feel a little misfire I think at idle. Mileage seems to be down also, but it's also been really cold out too. We'll see soon. I think I'm going to a dealer to get my plugs changed Around $236 is what I was quoted, and that's worth it to me. Don't have the time it seems, plus I would probably eff it up anyway

yea i got a gryphon so when the CEL comes i just used it to check the code, then i switched around two of the COP's to see if it threw a bad code for the new cylinder and it did so i knew that was the problem

I changed my plugs about 5-7k miles ago and my quote was closer to 500 from our local napa place, needless to say me and dad tackled the job ourselves ha

if you have them do it though i've heard you should replace all the boots on the COP's and use lots of dielectric grease. Of course i heard this information after i changed my plugs

At least you dont have the 3v.

I need to pull the plugs on mine soon because it has started to run like a Ford (which is not very good). Cant wait to break a couple off in the head God knows how much those funny plugs are going to cost besides...

How was everyone's weekend? Did you guys utilize the nice warm sunday we just had?

Well the HID's are in and all I can say is wow! There will be no confusing my truck with others from now on. Well at least during nighttime driving

Here is a couple quick pics the rest are in the following thread link:

Yes they are technically "illegal" until I get projector headlight housings. But I have passed several cops with zero issues. If aimed correctly they don't blind people as much as they are made out to. I have re aimed my lights and I have not had any issues with them blinding anyone as of yet.

Would anyone local here want to build a sub-box for 2 eight inch JLs for under the rear seat of my supercab? Just let me know if you would / could, and how much. Thanks, Jump n

Jumpin you could definitely get one off of ebay for like $100-140 probably cheaper then getting one custom built. I would have no prob helping ya build one but I don't have a table saw anymore. Once I get another one then I am going to take up box building again.

Anyone have any running boards to nerf bars for an 05 supercrew f150. I have a king ranch that didnt come with running boards and would like to pick a set up locally if possible.
