Fraige, I have a handheld CB i could use, but it would probably only be the two of us with it. Not sure yet what the plan is for food, but we'll figure it out before we go. Either way I will probably bring a cooler with some drinks and snacks.

Glen R, That would be a long haul to the OBX from there, but your welcome to meet up.

Formula, man fx4 and lightning in the same sentence, dosnt sound right. Guess your not going to lift the 02.

Bigsur, thats a sweet rig, needs a level and bigger tires though.

Yeah I am bringing the Blue truck. I don't have the other two anymore. I sold them awhile ago.

Ruffn-it, I plan on doing a lightning blower swap on it haha. Not going to lower that would be gross. I plan on running a fabtech 6" with 35" tires, pro-comp trailing arms to the rear end, I am going to have custom axles made so I can run the 2010 FX4 rear diff so I can have a e-locker, everything is the same except for the axle spline count. 4:56 gears front and rear, fox shocks, the lightning blower setup, 18" XD addict wheels with the machined center and black outer ring, and the list goes on and on haha. The lightning setup will be at the house in a few weeks. After the blower install and the tuning I plan on starting the rear diff project. All that actuates the rear diff on the 2010 FX4 e-locker is a simple positive and ground switch ran to the cab. All the bearing sizes are the same and everything. All I have to do is get the axles made with the proper spline count and outside diameter of the splines. I ma going this rout cause the only company that makes a true selectable locker is ARB and I don't feel like plumbing the airlines and all that. I had a auto locker in my first 02 and was not a fan of it. Sorry for the long a$$ story.

This time won't be doable, but I'll keep watching. Maybe I'll get lucky and yall will plan something, when I am going to be in E City/ Camden visiting the in-laws.

Just thought I'd note that we've got more use out of this thread in the past week than we probably have in months. Good work boys. We should continue to stay in touch.

No there are no other companies that make a E-locker. Only ARB makes a true on/off locker.

I'm sure you've done your research and know your best options. Heres a locker that claims ls when off and locked when on.

Unfortunately there is not a lot of aftermarket support for the 9 3/4 rear end. The 8.8 has several manually operated differentials, including electric from Eaton, Auburn, and mechanical from Ox-Locker.

Add another rig to our convoy, my sister (not really my sister thats just what I refer to her as) is bringing her 4runner. She has an older 4Runner, im wondering how well it will do on the sand. So now if nothing changes we should have 2 jeeps, 3 f150's, and a 4Runner in our convoy.

We roll deep!!!!! Will definitely make for some good group shots atleast. The 4runner a stock one? Those things are hit or miss from what I've seen with them. Hey are 4wd monsters or they are prima donna rigs that don't like anything other than pavement.
