My vote for 2002s Hard Core L owner

is TUGBOAT.

He drove 8 hours(YES 8 HOURS!!!) to Test and Tune with us at Cecil. Then on the way home he got stuck in a BLIZZARD and had to stay the night in a rest area.So he left his house at midnight and got home 36 HOURS later!!!!.This was for Test and Tune.
THAT IS HARDCORE!!!!!!!!!

Who has your vote?

VINNIE

wow

I'm going to nominate Bill (HDMILNIUM). Anyone who can go a year without their truck, especially with what's being done to it takes some HARDCORE patients. I've had my truck put away for a week and i'm already going nuts Kinda having fun driving the transam. Felt like Billy Madison the other night, had some Motely Cure blaring!!!!

There are several hard core owners. Ruslow tows his Lighning across the country hoping to just drive it 30 to 40 minutes. This past year at almost every event, all he ended up with was busted engines, trannies, fires, cancelled events due to tragedies, etc.

Yeah its hard to sum it up.

Many guys that run the NMRA or FFW races have to drive all over to run them all. Many guys dont have local tracks so they drive hours to play. As a family we are all hard core!!

Does this make me hardcore?

my wife told me to go trade in the L for a Vette? and I said I'd rather have my L... and I meant it..

Thanks Vinnie! I would do it again in a heartbeat it was a blast (the racing part)! The only thing that sucks is my truck was a virgin (no rain, snow, salt) so I'll spend the next week or so cleaning it. Josh (QUIKSVT) & I will be back first part of the year representing OHIO. Kudos to all those good running trucks i watched and that amazing 10.59 by Johnny Lightning! Once, again great time had, it reminded me of going to Indy to race 5.0's in 1990 when the Mustang thing had just started.

P.S. Vinnie can't wait to see those cosmetic mods you mentioned.

Later, Tugbolt (a.ka. Todd)

My vote is for Stan Martin (Ruslow). He's forgotten more things about Lightnings than I'll ever know. When he comes up with an idea for a part, he just goes to the shop and makes it.

Pretty? Who cares? He only wants to know if it works better or makes his truck faster.

Know anyone else with a handmade IRS on their L?
