'Bolt,

Pondering the Bassani setup as a replacement to my Magnaflow 12468 also.

So how was the highway test drive?

Update. Finally hit the highway for some cruising. Definately louder than the Magnaflow. Not obnoxious but you do hear it. 70mph about 2000 rpm (3.55's) is not bad at all. As you approach 2500 the sound level goes up a little. From there it pretty much stays the same until you put you foot down. All hell breaks loose. Off the freeway and into to downtown Portland was fun. Hearing the sound reflect off the tall buildings was excellent. Into the underground parking garage and Ut-Oh set off a few car alarms. Had dinner came back out. Fired it up and a few more alarms go off. Big thumbs up.

With stock cats it is much quieter. The high flow cats ready wake it up. Not sure if there will be long tubes in my future or not. Maybe on the future motor.

I plan to check my work tomorrow. Now that it has a few miles and has been hot I will re-torque everything.

A mod I would do again for sure. Anyone want a Magnaflow 12468.......
