Bassani is on!

Just finished install Bassani high flow cats and a Bassani cat-back. This thing sounds absolutely pissed off! That's a good thing. I had a Magnaflow 12468 on it before this. It went from a house cat purr to a lions roar. Need to make a highway run to see how the cab noise is.

I have on a magnaflow 12468 and its as quiet as a mouse. Pissed me off because I went from a straight pipe that had a awsome sound but it had to much resinance in the cab at hiway speed. I guess Im going to have to spend more money on top of the 180 I spent for the stainless steel magnaflow. What do people think about the JDM silver bullet

The Bassani has an evil sound to it. I love the way it burbles when you let off the gas.

Left the POS clamp in the box. Summit sells 2-1/2" all stainless u-bolt style muffler clamps for $8.99. Money well spent. Also changed all the mounting hardware to stainless. Can't figure why they would send crap grade 5 zinc plated stuff with such a nice system. Me being picky.

Sounds much nastier than the Mag 12468.

No need to waste money on anything else, buy the Bassani.

Bassani has the most unique sound on the market and all my hardware was stainless. Silver-Bolt, Are you sure yours was zinc plated? Strange to say the least.

BTW, I welded mine and it's going nowhere, ever! I love it, it sounds like a wild animal screaming during a kill!

I love my BASSANI !!!!!!!!!
I have had the shortys and a cat back for over a year and every tech at the shop loved it.
Just put the high flow cats on and still cant get used to the new sound, its a new nasty growl and a whole lot lowder!!!!!!!
I mean nasty mean sound, and at WOT DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!
The techs at the dealer say it sounds like a diff. truck.
Its a bit much, so if i do not gain something on my ET i may go back to stock convertors.
No SES with the BASSANI high flows for me, the ses was on for a day or so and then went awway.
I have to admit i slammed a few ricers dudes in the driver side window today, but its to easy, my tailpipes come out right about at ricer winow level

Struckby01,

At 70-80 the cab noise is sweet music. There's nothing to compare them to, they just sound great. Quiet when you want and a monster when you want. That's the truth, ask anybody that has them.

I have some on order that will be in next week.

Screws are what I do for a living. Mine were definately grade 5 steel zinc plated import crap.

The more I drive it the more I like it. Still need a freeway blast to see how it is at cruise.
