Results and Pics of Jersey Invasion on Cecil

As always a bad day of racing is better then a good day at work.

Here is some updates-
Johnny lightning ran a 10.58@ 125 He had a 1.43 or 1.46 (60 ft)
and a 6.6 1/8. Very Nice run.

Sean drove the JDM truck - Had a 1.43 or 1.46 (60 ft. His and Johnnys were the same) and also a 6.6 1/8. At half track there was a plug problem and Sean shut the truck down. They will be back on the 14th though.

Jim took my truck out and had a 1.59 60ft. THATS RIGHT!!!!!! on 20 inch" heavy a$$" 01 replica fronts(No skinnies) and stock shocks.Wait till I get my skinnies.
The run was 11.91 @111 MPH
I ran a 12.01 and a 12.07

Blueballs(mike)2002 True blue- THIS TRUCK IS A FREAK!!! Ran a 12.62 with NO pulley.
His best was a 12.75 before this.
He put on the Full exhaust (SS LT headers,Hi-flow cats, Silver Bullet ) the day before(friday) and picked up 1.3 tenths. And they say LT headers don't do anything. He picked up power and is NOT running a pulley.
His only mods are-Chip ,filter,Exhaust, bars, slicks THATS IT!!!!

Dave Lunden-Ran 11.5s with his new built motor and stock blower and no juice.

JohnnyAC ran a string of 12.0s

Fred (silverlightning) ran a 12.43 (personal best) Congrats!!!

Blown 93 ran a 12.73 on F1s (Welcome to the 12 second club!!!)

Tugboat drove 8 HOURS to come race and race he did.12.25 on F1s WOW!!!!!

Blackjack had some 12.1s

BTJ- Had some Low 12 runs also

If I left anybody out I am sorry.
We all had fun until it started to rain.

Hey Vinnie, glad you made it 2day. It's great to see a good turnout of Jersey Buds rippin' some asphalt. Too bad the rain came and shut down the strip, we'll have to come back next week and give it another shot. Thanks for posting results and being a good racin' bud, later, John H.

Hey vinnie: Thanx! it was nice talking to you again today..I'm glad we all ran some in impressive times! i launched the truck harder the last pass and the track wouldn't take it. i broke the tires loose. still went a 10.7! we still had 3# of boost to throw at it. but i had to run had other obligations. All i can say come spring its going to be a whole new ball game! We hope to be in the 9's without NO2! and 2v heads! Congrats on your awsome times! and we'll see ya next year.... JL

What kind of plug problem??? By any chance did you happen to catch Nuno's (ThunderStruck) runs??? I can't seem to reach anyone that was there tonight, must be at Hooter's or something.

They had stripped a plug and heli coiled it the night before and the plug did not seat all the way.It did NOT launch or anything but it also did not fire corrrectly.

Nuno was running low 12s. Ithink his best was 12.02

Thanks...

Hope you don't mind, but I used your above info and quoted it over to the JL at Cecil thread on NLOC.

I just heard that Nuno ran 12.02 then switched chips and ran a 12.3 ??? What did he switch to his street program???

Later...

He also changed tires. He went from a 26 inch MT to a 28 inch Hoosier that he has never run before. What was his 60 ft on the two runs ? That should be the question.

Blown 93 congratts on getting into the 12's way to go bud.

Damn you Vinnie, your truck is now faster than mine, weep weep. Just kidding I am happy for you.

I still have one record that you haven't equalled or bettered, a 12.10 on F1's front and back, and at full weight.

Tugbolt was stuck in blizzard conditions near Morgantown, WV. He just now was able to get going again about 7am this morning.
