materials suited to be used in engine bay?

Hey L fellas,

I know that some of you have tricked out your engine bays, and I am in need of some advice on materials suited for the high heat in there. if you have the time, please post your advice here

Thanks in advance...

Any pictures of the damage??? Maybe you can glue/epoxy it back together.

pieces are lost....I wasn't present when it happened...just happened to notice it wasn't closed one day, just fiddling around looking at things, checking fluids, etc.... the chunk missing is small, the lid's latch part, and about a 1/2" by 1/2" piece of the wall that it latches to. right now it's all covered with elect. tape, but that won't hold up in the coming cold weather..

so I was thinking of just 3M'ing two short pieces of strong velcro: one to the box, and one to the lid, and then that would hold it snug...but not sure if doing so would be a smart move, with the engine bay temps and all...

Are you talking about the fuse box? If so get a billet one Iam sure the Bling-Bling Bros would approve

Bruce - I was gonna suggest that, butt what I got from his post that the fuse box itself was broken as well and the lid won't stay on. I think a pic would clear it up alittle more.

But check out a company called Billet and Acrylic for the one Bruce mentioned.

yes, both the lid, and the box are broken. otherwise that'd be a great fix
