Just bought a house over the summer and been looking forward to having a garage for long time now, and also being able to wash a car out of the elements, so for the question, wife thinks im nuts, so
Does anyone else do this?
Would u if u could?
Or for those in the warmer climates, would u if u had to?
See it’s not the bad in the garage, kind of nice.

I tell my wife "It's not a Garage, it's a Shop!"
A shop can do more than just house cars:
I've washed a few cars inside

Cant say I would ever wash my truck in the garage but I do live in GA and it gets cold but not like it does up north. Last year I had water freezing on the driveway when I was washing my car (no L last year) but it wasnt that bad.
First of all, nice garage! I's so clean, where do you store all your 'stuff'?
Let me give you my $0.02 worth of advice;
If you wash the truck in there when it's REALLY cold outside, the water can freeze under the overhead door. When you go to open it, it could tear the gasket. I've been there!
I noticed that in your photo, you sprayed the inside of the door. If you door has hardboard on the inside, which it looks like it does, you're asking for trouble. Because those inside panels are rarely painted, they could rot, swell or buckle! (I worked for Masonite for years.) Keep them painted and make sure that there are 'weep holes' in the metal channels so that water can drain out. This will prolong their life, and keep your nice garage looking nice longer.
Oh yea...I wash my truck in the garage when ever I can.

Once it hits f'in cold i wash mine at work. Its a large 2 car deep, 4 wide (3 garage door) place. NICE big heater, water house just inside the door. Been doing it for the last 8 years, and works great. Once i build my new house it will have infloor drains, and bottom half of wall will be something water resistant soo i can move my fun home.
Looks like a nice setup!
