Angry 13.12/nos

I dont get it,went to the track best run was a 13.12w/50shot.Is this right with the other mods I have?1.99 was 60ft@105mph.
Then I ran a 13.51@106mphw/a 2.0260ft.No NOS Truck seems faster on the street then the track.Ran with the f-1s..

Yup that's slow. Do you know the outside temp or DA? With a 5# and 50 shot you should be looking at breaking into the 11's, not 12's. Is your truck running well, tune up, etc?

How are your plugs, fuel filter, cil packs? Do you have an upgraded fuel pump to handle the extra fuel supply your engine is now demanding? How about your tune?

Either way you should be in the 12's. Hell I run those low 13's with only a chip.

With those mods you should be in the mid 12's or better. I ran 13.2 with simular mods and not nos!!!

Did you run the truck off the spray that same night? A 50 shot is good for about 3 tenths on the average.

It could really be anything, from a bad tune to a bad part. Did you verify the spray was even coming on?

Without seeing your truck in person, it's hard to say, but from your mod list, I see two things that might need to be addressed. First, you list an Airaid box and the 90mm. The two are not compatable because the Airaid box leaves a lip around the inlet of the MAF and causes air to tumble through the MAF. We've seen choppy dyno graphs and loss of power on the dyno from this.

The second thing is the plugs. You need to get the TR6s out of there. With the 5lb and the spray, put in a set of BR7s gapped at .032-.034.

Fix those two issues and then see how the truck performs.

Sal, Why did you recommend replacing the TR6's? I am currently running a 3# lower with a 75hp shot with TR6's gapped at .042 with zero problems.

Do you feel like you are losing power up top.If so try your coil packs.I had two bad one at 16,000 miles. It cost me 4 tenths.
