New Hood

I don't really want to get flamed for this, but I'm too excited to keep it to myself. I just installed a DG Motorsports carbon fiber hood on my white 01 L. I know they arent real popular especially with the older crowd, but I wanted something different. For anyone in the market for a cf hood, this is the way to go. I have never seen such a great quality. It bolted right up to the stock brackets, from opening the box, to closing the garage was an hour. That includes finding tools, and cleaning up in the dark. Sorry for the long post, but I thought someone might be interested.

Keith

That guy with the Black L on bags has that hood and I think it looks sweet on it. Now they just need to make one like that in carbon fiber or somthing. that would be SWEET!!

That Black L on airbags and the wild interior has a CF hood IIRC.

Hey Keith I am the older crowd and I think it is awesome. If they made a cowl hood I would love to get one.

Hey how much does it weigh??

If I got one I prob would paint it, I know I might get flamed for that.

Carbon fiber would be a lot lighter than our stock hood right?

The stock hood is aluminum, which I think may be lighter than an aftermarket C/F hood.
