The L rocks!

I went out on a date last night with a really cool chick, and she loves the L! She was the one urging me to 'open her up' (the L anyway )

Drove out to a less traveled road, and did some nice smoky burnouts, 0-100-0 sprints, and even did a (not so clean) 180...she had more fun than I did!

The L is great...tons of brute power, good looks, comfort, and it always delivers the performance when asked (and mine's still stock)

Didn't do any street racing against other cars, but when I was merging onto the highway, I punched it at 20 mph, and the rear-end swung out and started fishtailing...pretty cool!

She wants to drive it next time (said she likes the blower whine)

Lol... I wouldn't let her drive it... Some hot chick asked to drive my L last night, "just up and down the block..." Hmm, but I refused I think that if someone crashed my L i'd go into hibernation for a couple months.

ZX12, I see a lot of items in your sig, yet you speak like an 18yr old that just got his license and first tit flash. Take it easy with the "showing off" and I am sure you will do just fine.

LMAO............

Device manager,

I may be showing signs of age, but at what age do we quit calling them chicks as a term of indearment?

I call them lady friends or women. Now my son has some young gals around him that I guess I would call chicks, they are about 16-18. But I usually only call them that to him when I am trying to give him the speaches about not showing off, for all the "little chicks".

Awww, come on! We gotta have some fun, right?

You mean to tell me that no one on this board has 'shown off' their L a little bit? How many pics of L's doing burnouts have you seen on this board? I'd say quite a few!

I think a little 'spirited' driving is okay, using good judgement and proper consideration of safety of those in and around the vehicle.

I chose a deserted area that I'm familiar with, I was driving, and I was in as much control as possible. I know the limits of my truck well. I've ridden high-perf bikes, which are way more dangerous and unpredictable than our Ls, for over 10 years, and I use that experience when pushing my L. The L is 'sedate' compared to the rocket bikes.

I shoulda rented a Geo Metro to go out last night...do you think she would've liked it better?

Anyway, I just wanted to say some good things about the truck we all like, and not b***h about it's problems

I think I'll let her drive it, but I first need to give her a crash course in superchargers and traction...
