Motor is IN!!!!

Well just finished up installing the motor and trans.First a run down on it.JDM long block, canton pan, custom v/covers,externally oil cooler remote oil filter and Long Tubes. Now for the fun the motor is reloacated!!! moved back and down for better weight transfer as well as better handling. All the flammable fluids are in AN stuff and the fuel lines are 1/2 to and 3/8 from the rails, fuel cell is in headers are on and starting on the exhaust.Have to place one more order for AN stuff. Then it all comes back out and gets straighten up and the exhaust gets coated.
When you move the motor back the LTs still fit and you don't have to do any major mods to the cross member[just relieve it alittle and lengthen the slots. But everything still bolts up.I figure that by moving the motor and trans I have increased the rear weight by 100 to 150 lbs and lowered the CG but a good 3/4 of an inch.Should be running next weekend then off to Heartland park for some fun in Nov.Stan

Did you use custom motor mounts and a shorter driveshaft?
