I have a set of Quicktime Pros they are so bad, I haven't used them since July. I can run 12.1 with my stock tires, the best I have run with the Quicktime Pros was a 12.3 most of the runs were in the 12.4 -1.5 range.

I know M/T has a set of 28 inch ET streets ready to be released. I can't wait to see how they will work.

I thought you guys had good results with them Quicktimes?
There is no 12 inch wide wheel around to fit those on?
That sucks and I wanted to buy a 16" Street drag tire, better wait for the E.T. street then. I loved mine on my truck!

ET Streets work fine if you heat them up good

I have never VHT'd my tires. But I beleive they require a healthy burnout to get them good and sticky. I get mid 1.7's with a 5# lower.

Last year I was getting 1.71's to 1.75's on my 26x11.5x16 MT et streets. That was no tubes and on 16x10 wheels. I had a 3lb lower and metco upper.

I don't think you can put the Nittos in the same catagory as the racing tires. The Nitto 555R's are just a soft compound street tire.

I have a set of 28x16x10 hoosiers on 16x8 wheels ready for the truck now.

So are 28" or 26" tall tires better for 60' times and or 1/4 times? I had a friend loose 2mph by going to 28" vs 26". This is with the 01/02/03 3.73 gears..

26" tire will give you more gear (close to 4:10's) which will give you better 60' times. 28" tall tires will keep the gear in your L the same (3:55's or 3:73's) and most likely give you better top end pull.
