The wheels are 20's as for how low without major mods to suspension really none in back because it is leveled by air bags. But the drop is 4 and 4 and yes it is a PITA to do have to cut all the brackets off that hold the bed had special c notches made and welded the brackets to the c notches.Stan

Thanks for the info Stan. I don't really intend to enlarge my tires as I'm happy w/the looks of the 18's (just want to chrome the rims ). I just think the hubby is getting ideas because I have brought up a few things I want to do to make it a better show truck.
BTW, any word on how the owner is enjoying that toy? performance & handling wise? Any 1/4 mile times?

Thanks again for the info.

Cool

Maybe HDMillenium (something like that) will chime in, I belive JDM is working on a POS DIS blower for his 5.4 DOHC. We have a Navigator Motor 5.4 DOHC that we are putting in our Mustang, and we would like to do the same thing. So any info would help!!!

By the way dad finally took the L to Cecil and pulled a best of 13.3, bone stock for another 5000 miles. But he has a stack of goodies waiting for after the warranty expires.

Later,
Gabe

I don't know how some of you do it.

I should have gone to counseling I was so addicted to modding my L.

per Speedy>>>I think I was diagnosed with "Modthrax".........either that or drunk on Jager with too many credit cards laying around

Cool

The only reason he held out was because of some issues with his Mustang before the warranty ended. He did some paint mods to help him get by, that and the guy drives like 10,000 miles a month. Not really but he has only had the truck since March and he is almost off warranty.

I looked at doing an ATI Procharger but have decided against it for a couple of reasons. Mainly, I don't think those things make the torque in the rpm range we need it for our 5000lb trucks. Could be pretty slick for high speed stuff though.

Was not sure if I should post or not, I've been busy and tried to stay away for a while. The "03" Cobra intake will not fit the the 5.4L plus the 4.6l Cobra head and the 5.4l 4 valve Nav. head have different port configuration. Even the Cobra "R" head has its unique port configuration. After the first of the year I will be installing my new 5.4L four valve blown and intercooled motor into my Mustang. I design a new manifold and have developed new tooling sources to aid in my manufacturing. Please note I have only spelled out part of my project and nothing more. There are a few here who do know the full concept. Thanks.
