A gun isn't a bad idea; but, if you are doing this sort of work, car-jacking is the least common after work problem you are going to have. Learning where "all" the police stations or high police traffic areas are on you travel route is the number one safety precaution you should take. When being followed, pull into the parking lot of one, or better yet, up to the front door if you can. This is the technique all the women at the few bars and stripclubs I have bounced in are taught. It works. I know many women who have saved themselves this way; and, they always pass the idea on to any new girls that are hired. I hope this helps. I'm also glad everything worked out for you this time.

Good idea but I think a fire station would be even better---there are more of them and the guys are usually outside or nearby.

Thanks guys I lived in Denver for so long that I knew where to go to find (and avoid) all the officers who happened to be coming on and off duty or may be milling about. I have always kept that in mind as an option, but duh, I didn't think far enough ahead to know WHERE exactly the stations were in the areas I will be in. I'm glad you brought it up.

Thanks again

Sometimes I am a dingbat hehe
