Jeez, it's summer-fall, perfect cruising weather for a muscle car. I don't understand why the dealer wouldn't take $3000 of his price...

If you want x-plan on an L, come to the upper midwest in January (bring some snow tires). I bought mine in February with zero haggling. I had three dealers offering x-plan after 15 minutes of phone calls.

 

i haven't driven one but im addicted. i wish i could drive the one down the street from me. (sighs) i guess i should become friends with that guy.

 

I was only aloud to drive in a small parking lot and that was after much persuasion.

 

InS0mNiAc, the cutlass is great, it has loads of power, but it is my dads, I can use it whenever I want, but its a pain to go home and take it out ande everything. I just use it for cruising on the weekends. I want an Lightning as my everyday vehicle. I have it as bad as you, I goto Ford dealerships at like 1am and look at the L's. whenever I see one on the street, I always admire them, and when I can I love talking to the owners, they are all cool!!

 

Deffinetely! I have talked to countless owners of lightnings, whether it be when they are in the trucks on the street at a stop light or when they are standing outside the truck at a show. I have heard nothing but great things about these trucks and I don't think that I'm going to be able to wait another 6 months! I know it's not that long of a time but to me its almost a whole school year! Oh well, I can't always go to ford and just sit in the lightning in the showroom for a while
