Help!
I'm installing a inline filter and a transmission oil cooler tommorrow. But my question is how do I tell which line is the return cooler line on the tranny? Does the return on the tranny inter in front or the line in the back of the tranny? Or if there is another way to tell ,I will listen. If I put it in the wrong line damage could result. Thanks for any help!

I just tried to touch each line trying to see which is cooler , but thay both feel the same. If your looking at the truck there's a line from the radiator that comes out the bottom and one out the top. Oh well I hope Gregg gets on line in the morning. Is there no one whos put a tranny cooler on? It says on the package that every 20 degrees you drop the temp , you double the life of your tranny.
170 degree 50,000 miles
190 degree 30,000 miles
215 degree 10,000 miles
235 degree Varnishes Form 7,500 miles
255 degree Seals Harden 5,000 miles
290 degree Plates Slip 2,000 miles
300 degree Seals, Clutches,Filter, Fail 1,000 miles
If those facts are true, Idon't know. Its just on the info on the package. Enough to get my attention. Those with tranny temps what is it on the track?
