WTF he's not allowed to post when someone is trashing him with outright lies about his dealings unless he pays you money?

Now I've heard it all

Ok, it's obvious that nobody here wants to do anything but twist my words around. So how about this....

I admit I was wrong and I apologize to LFP and BOP for saying their $689 PI converters are not multi disc. Precision Industires has obviously lied to me and all the other PI vendors, and somehow LFP and BOP are buying multi disc converters for several hundred dollars less than the rest of the world. So I'd like to buy some multi disc PI converters to resell to my customers for hundreds less than I buy them now from PI for.

I think they are all sold out or there was a price increase on them or something.

I don't think anyone was twisting any word around. They pretty much speak for themself. I'm sure most people can read what was and understand it for what it is and says.

Did I say that ?
Did I edit out his contact info or company name ?
Did I ban him for violating the vendor rules ?
NO- NO and NO

( other than supporting vendors ) A vendor posting that he sells anything is a violation. A vendor posting in a thread about his products ( positive or negative ) is a violation. Since like you I think he should be able to clear the air I let the post stand unedited and SIMPLY reminded him of the rules

PS- I am a volunteer the money you talk about goes to the webmaster for webhosting fees. Recently a supporting vendor posted a special for F150Online members and sold $7000 in product in 3 hours... Point being that people who have NO interest in contributing to the site try ALL kinds of methods to market to the membership here. The rates are reasonable and the returns are verified and substantial. We try to be fair and consistent. For some reason some members continue to see problems where none exist and read conspiracy's into everything...

Not a problem, I understand not wanting the board spammed with ads...it is annoying and tuners should have to pay for advertising but this wasn't a case of advertising he was defending himself! You did let the post stand which is nice of you I just took offense that you would tell him hes not allowed to post that.

No hard feelings I was just in an irritable mood I guess.

Wasn't twisting your words Sal, I think its great the info and help you provide to the community here but you stated:

I don't want to step on anyones toes here, but just FYI, that converter is not the same unit being sold by other vendors for close to a grand. That is the single disc lockup converter (we can get that too) and is not recommended (by PI) for the Gen 2 trucks. You can call PI and ask them, I talked to them this week about this "cheaper" converter I kept hearing about, and that's what they said. Just don't want to see anyone try to save a few bucks and have a part that's going to fail.
Which was pretty much an outright lie just as I stated...you made a mistake and owned up to it tho which is better than most men would do so thats admirable...

Once again no hard feelings or ill will towards anyone

Sal

You have made more of a statemment with your apology than you think. Your time slips back up your knowledge and I appreciate your input!

LFP & BOP ??? Is that like Neil & Bob ... or something ???

In my opinion it's kind of silly to be getting performance parts recommandations or buying parts from "vendors" that don't run the parts on their trucks and don't even run their trucks at drag strips for that matter. How would they know what works and what doesn't when they have no real world experience ??? Because a brochure says so ???

If you guys want to save huge $$$$ there's a dude behind a 7-11 selling Lightning parts from the trunk of his Vega. Anybody want his number ???

I can't beleive how twisted this thread got from a guy posting about a converter.

Plain basic and simple for you people that try to make things to damn complicated with you huge words and theory's of evolution when you explain how to install a breather cap:

Ready:

Sal was looking out for the guy cause at the price he said he got the converter for sal new that it was the price on a single plate and not a 3 plate and he knows as ""the fastest L tuner in the world"" that the 3 plate is better for our trucks.

Thats IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He didn't have a secret covert operation to try and ruin the blue oval performance reputation, or the LFP reputation.

I like to do things like John Madden. Explain it stupid simple so everyone gets it the first time. "well they need to get the ball between the two poles for the 3 points" Even woman can understand that! just kiding ladies.
