L: the best all around vehicle on the street

I am very close to selling my L. It will go there is no doubt. I'm just waiting on the title and it's gone. For the first time in a while i took the L out for a cruise this morning. I detailed the crap out of it for the sale and it sat for a while. I was just driving and this truck still gets tons of looks and nods. I will miss it alot. I really took care of it and it seems a shame that my baby has to go. with JDM's stage 1 and 4# pulley it is truly a beast. There are alot faster out there but i'm just a street driver and a cruiser. A Ford fan you may say. These trucks are one of a kind and there will not be an equal. The gen 3 L will be faster and more enginiered but the price will sky rocket along with the performance. Now that i know that it will be gone soon it just made me realize what i had for a very short time. My family is more important and i will have something like this in my future. It just is a fact i will face and hope that my future includes another vehicle with this much personality. The guy buying my L is getting a showroom clean and babied bad *** L. I hope he respects it like i do. Everyone out there---- have fun and take care of your L's and eachother. Ford rules!!!
Later, J-mart

Was this for real, or just a "final thought"?

Good luck.

I am sorry to hear you are selling the L

I know it must have been a tough decision, but I respect your reasons and wish you well.

You are allways welcome to stop by and visit us, I have never met you, but if your anything like all the other guys I have met since getting my L (except the guy who stole my tire)you must be a nice guy.

I know I will never sell my L unless it is for a new Lightning.

Keep in touch

Don

This seems the apropos time and place to make my return:

I used to be on this board until about 15 months ago when I had to sell my L and get something more practical for a while.

I bought a Focus

Well, 15 months has passed and things have changed again and I am proud to announce I am a happy Lightning owner once again.

I know what you're going thru Tiamat. It hurt BIG TIME to give up that truck, but I did what I had to do.

Just know that there will come a time soon when you will be able to have an L once again.

In the meantime, good luck and all the best.

K
