Wet Okoles

I drove out to Costa Mesa and watched the factory guys install them while I soaked up the cool weather.
IMHO, Purple Hibiscus is the way to go. If you don't believe me, ask my wife.[IMG][/IMG]

I think from what J.D.Blackwell stated, putting them out in the sun will help for the installation, I agree with JBLsilver01 that they do stink for a long time, especially when they've been in the sun for a while. The shampoo and cleaner will help as they have a nice citrus smell to it. FYI, when installing at their shop, they took it directly out of the shipping box and took a whole 15 minutes, and these were two big guys. I think the key was they knew exactly how strong and how much force you can exert on the neoprene before they rip, which supposedly is almost impossible.

Well, I got them installed last night. It took me a little over an hour mainly because I was taking my time and it was hot so I was sweating like a pig. The installation wasn't that bad. I'm 6'8" tall and I did it by myself. So if I can do it... anybody can do it.

Question though... How tight did you guys pull the straps that go from front to back?
I snugged mine up but I noticed that their are little puckers where the straps connect to the seam on the front of the seats. I was thinking that the covers would stretch so I made them tight in the beginning.

I don't have the fancy purple hibiscus ones but I like the color scheme I got. I have a silver L and I got the black exterior with the Light Gray inserts and the Lightning logo in black.

Thanks for all the input!
Eric

If the smell really bothers you, spray Febreeze on them, it will smell really nice!

I personally put mine on pretty easily, and they didn't smell as bad as everyone elses....
