It is easy to form an opinion of someone from reading there posts but joe is just stating his opinion and if you think he is a "no it all" he does not come off that way in person at all.
But then again how can he when he is slower than me

Now, i can be an azzhole[ more so in my youth] but i never have had a problem with any L owner that i have met,and i have met quite a few.

As far as dyno #'s for longtubes,i have heard anywere from 5-11 rwhp on a stock truck with the main two brands available up until this thread.

Worked heads would be a good idea before, or in conjunction with, a header installation. There doesn't seem to be much of a gain for the money other wise. I don't know if anyone has done a head swap and then headers to gauge the difference. It just seems logical that with better flowing heads, that headers would be necessary to take full advantage of the upgrade.

When you start crunching the numbers, a blower upgrade makes more sense for a power increase. If you want headers mostly for the sound, you have to ask yourself if it's worth the money to you or not. If I had the cash growing on a bush outside my window, I'd do everything I could think of to my truck that gave me even the slightest improvement. I don't; so, I have to go for bang for the buck and what works the best.
