I'm with BadAzz516 on this one. I have LT's HF Cats and Bassani and anybody that's ever heard it say it's the baddest sounding truck to ever hit the street.

HP and Torque gains are minimal I think, but that's just me. No dyno numbers to back it up.

I gotta believe the long tubes will make a little more power, But if Soap says they won't you have got to believe him. Because if you havent figured it out he is smarter than everyone else on this board.

Where in gods name did that come from

I am sure that quite a few others who have long tubes will agree with me that the only thing you get from them is mean sound.

I think Beefcake even dynoed them and only got like 7hp or something.........and he is pretty highly modded.

Have I done something to offend you.

Unhappy

Wow!! How much money, and they are NOT emissions legal ??

Hmmmm........... You'd think someone would've checked into getting them approved before selling them ?

I've already passed the emmissions test with no problems. Stainless LT's, HF Cats and single magnaflow.

the coated mild steel ones might not in CA, but the stainless will even in CA. no worries!

edit: THEY DID check if they would pass, don't assume things

Visual or sniffer???

Thats the question there, if inspection doesn't pop the hood they would probably pass in every state, but upon visual inspection ...

I have question marks after both in my post..........I wouldn't assume that, that is assuming things.

Ahhhhhhhh....................Now it's all coming back to me...............I held a smog license in Calif. for a couple of years. I remember from the classroom to identify the materials that headers are made up from. That lets you know if they are legal or not. LOL

Read next post after yours...............There is a big difference between passing the sniffer...........and VISUAL. The idiot that doesn't bother to look underneath..............will lose his job doing emissions tests.

Also............If they did check if they would pass........They should have a tag on them with a C.A.R.B. E.O. number. Does anyone know these numbers off of the top of their head ?????

Now................what were you saying about assuming ?????

the longtubes and midpipes sound great,

for the money they are worth zilch on hp though

i am pushing 14 psi and had mine tuned to give identical before and after a/f's, that into consideration, i picked up 5hp and 10 ft/lbs sae corrected

i think the people getting gains are not doing before and after dyno's w/ a/f being corrected

I already stated I wasn't. My 30hp gain is on my -stock- truck. It has never been chipped.

I'm not running much learner though... I have my AF graphs somewhere, but its a tailpipe AF, not 100% accurate.

without being chipped, there is no way the a/f is the same as before
