I was looking for an answer not some stupid remark. Yes thank you for listing what I should get and where to get it but please keep your negative comments to yourself. If I got a Lightning and put it in the high 11's guess what it would just barely be keeping up with my "slow" MR2. BTW not to start a flame war I truely respect the Lightnings thats why I want one, but I have raced one before 3 times (same truck) and whipped him bad everytime to the point where I would slow down to let him get next to me and he wouldnt, like I said thanks for the help but dont knock my car when you dont know ***** about it.

There are a few good tuners out there... asking which is the best is like asking who makes the best pizza... it's all a matter of opinion... best way it to call each of them up, talk to em, and just pick the one you like talking with the best. They are all good and all give the L lotsa power...
The main tuners are (in alphabetical order)
JDM Engineering
Johnny Lightning Performance
Lightning Force Performance
Power Surge Performance
$1600 shoudl get you into the high 12's, with a chip, filter, pulley shift kit...on stock tires
Spray that setup (don't forget to have your chip reburned for NOS) and you'll hit mid 11's with some slicks...
Good luck... hope you make the jump to "L ownership"

Hey thats man for the info and for not jumping all over me. I dont know what brought all that up but whatever it's cool, my car can hold it's own.
Since Im new to the Lightning I just want to make sure when I do get one I will be getting the right mix of parts. Thanks for the help.

I just had the same experience this morning...
Everything except the black wheels.... same car though...
I didn't pull away as fast, but still pulled past him...
We started at a stop light for an on-ramp... I saw him and flew up next to him at the light, I revved, her reved... and then away we went... easily pulled past him by 65 or so... I took it to 100 and shut down... I slowed down to 65 on the highway...(the speed limit) and he stay behind me and would not try to pass me...
