Now if I could recall how to make a dual fan kit like the post above, that would be cool. The last time I did something like that was in under grand school, so I don't think I'd trust myself

How about this for an idea ( aka thinking out loud ) dual Ford MK8 fans on a FAL VSC ?
You'd have to make the mounting, for the fans ( similar to the FAL kit ), but that kit I would imagine would out flow the FAL 270 kit, but the cost would be right up there against the 400.00 FAL kit costs ( 260 for 2 fans, then what ever for the VSC would total about 350.00 and then you'd have to make the mounting kit.

I think they might thank me.
Thier nickname for their cat *****ty kitty or evil cat

So the line of thinking was almost there, it would flow a little bit of air, or at least more then the others on the market.

I did not look to see if 2 MK8 fans would even fit on the rad width wise to know how feesable this even is to be honest.

Here is the info on the electric fan. Website:

It's part #771-19117 ($103). It happens to be the one on the left in the little insert. A little persuasion with a hammer on the brackets and it can be bolted to a stock fan shroud real easy.
They also sell a wiring kit, part #771-18905 ($50) or 18907 (60), depending on type of sensor:

Myself, I just bought a relay, some wire, and a switch and just wired it up with just on/off operation. Runs great in the 95deg weather we are having in Texas. No overheating, or even moving above normal, while sitting in traffic with A/C on full blast. Plus it pulls tons of air - only 15min cool-down times in pits, and no dead battery.

The 18" fan is the one to go with.
The difference in the thermo kits is, one screws in block, and the other is just a prob that you stick in the radiator hose where it claps on at. That's your call.
The ford fans are mid 4000's CFM depending on which exact model you get. Just keep that in mind if your fan doesn't seem to be able to hold temperature at some point in the future. It generally starts to happen after your radiator gets old and starts building up sediment.
