Thumbs up

Great pics Odin! It won't be as 'pretty' now but will look a whole lot better later if you get an Outerwear 'sock' for your filter. Performance-wise, I didn't notice any differenece with or without the 'sock'.

Thanks guys,
I had the sock before; but, sold it to a buddy with my PSP kit. I ordered another from Sal about 2 weeks ago. It'll improve the looks some I'm sure. It's not a BABolt piece; but, it is still nice.

Hey Roger, I got a little tip for you that I always do when I do installs on trucks....

Turn all your clamps around (the one on the filter too) so that the adjuster worm and excess clamp is on the back side. This way all you see from the front is a nice clean shiny strip. It may not seem like much, but it makes the engine bay look "cleaner". Try it .

Hey Odin, could you give me an end to end measurement on the powerpipe? I want to see if it will work with my setup. TIA

Anyone have any feed back on the AFM powerpipe giving any more power, 1/4 mile times?

Here is a dyno for the Anderson Ford Power Pipe.

Lightbulb Odin's Wrath...

Now get yourself some of these to replace the original rusted up Upper pulley bolts.

My thoughts exactly. We ALL know Pro-M is notorious for creating power through toying w/ the meter electronics.

Anyhoo, my buddy bought one of these (just the kit to replace the factory pipe and still use the factory mass-air), had to CUT the pipe to work w/ his stock airbox. I'm not sure if he actually got a wrong kit, or what, but as for times and e.t.: he gained NOTHING!

Why not make the whole thing metal? What's up w/ that?

The midget that sits under my hood says that
you can't be solidly connected to the body of
the truck because the torque would rip something
apart everytime you mash the throttle ... <grin>

Good question...

I'd have to believe that there is no gain at all from just the pipe alone. With the upgraded MAF and the Filter sure, but no way with just the pipe. Looks "neat"
