See what happens when you build a great looking truck

Wouldn't it be interesting if the people selling that wing were the same people that used your picture for their AD?

Man Rich,

This is really getting out of hand lately with your truck. Whats next, pictures of your truck for sale on ebay?? Maybe you should put a big copyright decal on the side of your door.. Or just in the bottom corner of every picture.

I'm sure most of these vandals won't know to photoshop it out, or will think its too much hassle.

Rich, here's a new slogan you can use for your truck:

"TampaSVT, the Most Exploited Lightning on the Net"

Rich
Im not sure of the code but if you do a search on google im sure you a find it. Theres a java script code that im pretty sure of that will prevent anyone from right clicking on any pics on your site and stealing them. Well that isnt fool proof for any pics you have in your gallery here but will help some with your site. I would put a watermark on any other pics not on your site that way maybe they might think twice before stealing them also if you do put it in a place that they cant crop it out without loosing a good portion of the truck.

i've been marketing a line of , hitch mounted bbq pits, and my black truck did not fit into my ad campaign, so i hope you don't mind. even though yours has no hitch, a little photo shop and, viola, presenting: "MRBBQMAN"S RED HOT BBQ PITS"

ps: they are awesome, or something

Thumbs down Emailing the seller.

Rich, Have you ever thought of putting your pictures in dreamweaver or photoshop and putting a digital copyright on there so that when someone takes the picture from a website or something to that nature, there it is underlying the picture and is uphold-able by law. If you need help with this let me know. What happens is when they take it, you can look at it and print out the html code for it and it will say copyright, but it will not show on the picture itself (so basically he'll jack it w/o seeing it, use it and then you can punish him for it).

Just an idea.....

Also, I have emailed the seller this piece as well:

You've probably received several emails like this one already, but I'm sure Rich, the owner of the red Ford Lightning you claim as yours, doesn't appreciate you using his truck to peddle your goods. That pic needs to be removed from your auction, or he should be compensated post sale. Per E-Bay's Safe Harbor Team, this picture needs to be removed or Rich can take action against you.

Just another Lightning owner giving you a friendly reminder and a heads-up.
Hope you get this figured out. If anything you need to get money from HIM making money from the sale by using your picture.

Let us know what happens!

Personally I think Rich spends too much time worrying about people using pictures of his truck. Since nothing is copyrighted, consider it a compliment that others find your truck attractive.

Says it's his truck...
The eBayer says he had the wing on his truck, not that he owned the Red truck in his listing.

** BTW, Rich you do have a nice lookin' L

Rich,

I believe your truck has become an icon or sorts for all the liars and thiefs in the world. Too bad you can't prosper from it yourself. Damn dem hoodlems!!

Hey,
That picture of the lightning you have in your auction is not your lightning. It belongs to a guy named Rich as you can see on the right bottom of the pic in the white section. It would be nice if you asked him before you used the pic and not say that its your lightning. Please remove the picture from your auction and find someone elses picture to take credit for.
Pretty soon SVT is goin to be using your pics for their brochures

Thumbs down

One of the first offenses is still fresh in my mind, where that guy from Houston had one of your pics in some gallery at another site, claiming it was his, too. That was a couple of years ago if I remember correctly. There are probably pics of your poor L flying ***** nilly over the net. I'm pretty sure you have only caught a handful of the offenders. This guy must be a real genius not to take the copyright mark off the photo, sigh.,,,,98
