Good Choice, besides with a hard cover, it's a built-in excuse NOT to help people move

I love the retrax its a great cover and i really like the roll up hardcover tonneau's. You hardly lose any space in the bed and the are the most convient when and if you ever have to haul something that is tall and might stick out of your bed. But why would you do that to a lightning hehe. The only reason i was thinking about getting the roll n lock is because the roll n lock comes with a leather cover over the top of the tonneau. Where the retrax is just a hard plastic but shines and looks good but i had put a paper towel down once on there with carb cleaner on it and that ate away and left a mark in the cover. Also after i got my truck back from my accident looked like someone at the body shop put a container or something on the cover that left a mark. When i went to order my tonneau Pace Edwards didnt make one for the flairside yet and roll n lock wasnt out. Pace Edwards is a nice cover my friend had it on his gen 1 lightning and after looking at the roll n lock online seems like a nice quality cover to. Oh yeah no drilling required for the retrax or roll n lock. So the retrax is a nice cover and i love it just some times i get bored and need a change so if i get a chance and got the extra cash might get the roll n lock and sell the retrax.

Tim
Love that pic hehe

FWIW, I've had roll 'n Lock

on my truck for 2 years now with absolutely no problem. Functionality already described, but do you reaalize that top locks in 4 partially open positions that can help secure tall items. Fabric cover is vinyl, not leather, but a good grade. Looks great with a coat of Vinylex.

Vin,

I don't know if I've told you this but your hood is the best looking cowl hood on the market. It's just the right height for me. That's my opinion and if I had not run into such a good deal on my hood, that's the one I was going to buy. Great taste, my man!
