I see that JDM is selling the electric fan for the L but the brief describ. say everything is all ford stuff. If this is true I was wanting to know what vehicle they are using this off of or if they have a part# for ford!

I dont think so...

Its a 4.6 2 speed Stang fan, trimmed to fit inside the stock L shroud. Nothing exotic or expensive about it, pretty basic.

www.FORDPARTSONLINE.com

Uhhhmmm, I think that you guys are pretty silly to pay 200 plus dollars for just a fan. If you go to www.fordpartsonline.com you could pick up the fan for a whopping...128.35.
Enter cooling fan under search, and the savings is dramatic!!

Soap,

Sorry if you paid so much Joe. Cheaper prices are ALWAYS out there!!

kerrdog,

LOL..can you match this price

It's not a point of matching prices. The thing is you buy a fan from JDM and it's plug & play. All the parts are there along with easy to following directions. The otherside of this is you don't have to do the engineering they already did that. The install is very professional and looks factory.

The downtime for for install is 2 hours or less.

You can shop around and buy a fan here a switch there and might save a buck or two, but then you gotta figure out how to put everything together and hopefully make it work and look ok.

ARMSTRONG,

I know your a big advocate of JDM, and no one is looking to take "credit" away from them.
Your points are true, but yet false at the same time.

You can shop around and buy a fan here a switch there and might save a buck or two, but then you gotta figure out how to put everything together and hopefully make it work and look ok.
All the parts needed for a fan install will NOT amount to more than 220 bucks or so. As for hooking up the connections, it could not be any eaiser to do for anyone with a little knowledge.
Running a relay DOES not require a "engineering" degree, but for some around here, it may.
Dont get so upset because your "tuner" will still be YOUR "tuner" in the End.
